My active little dog, Montana, lives for John’s morning visits. He hopes every sound of a nearby door shutting in the hall of my apartment is the arrival of John. His anticipation is shown by his wags and anxious pants, as he looks at the door. After Montana’s walk, I always enjoy my little chats with John, before he scurries off to his next walk.
