I have always had a love for dogs and cats, so I realize how fortunate I am to spend my days with animals I cherish. To show my appreciation, I am committed to making pet sitting pleasurable for everyone involved. That means your pets receive lots of time on walks, playing and receiving tender loving care.

My professional pet sitting career began by accident in 2007 after I had retired from a 40+ year career in the footwear and apparel business. I had moved to Maryland early in 2007 to spend some time with my daughter and two grandsons.  We were searching for someone to watch over Jen’s dog, Beau, while we went on a camping trip to Maine. In the process, I met Mary at Happy Paws Pet Sitting, and she talked me into helping her out in her business. I enjoyed my first couple of pet sits so much that I began working in the profession full time and literally enjoyed almost every minute of it.

When I moved with my fiancé to the South Denver area in mid-2009, I decided to start my own pet sitting business, following many of the principles and philosophies that Happy Paws had used in Maryland. Mary even allowed me to bring her business name, Happy Paws Pet Sitting, to Colorado.

Our motto at Happy Paws is “Reliable, Conscientious, and Trustworthy.”  I don’t think I could run the business any other way.

I have a sense of pride and satisfaction, knowing that we provide a wonderful service for the owners of the precious pets who live in Arapahoe and Douglas counties. I am confident that our wonderful team of pet sitters is the BEST in the South Denver metro area because we all love what we do.
